Central LLM Wiki is self-hostable software. Each deployment is administered by its operator and stores its data in that deployment. The software does not report usage analytics to project maintainers.

Where is your data stored?

Accounts, notes, revisions, chats, attachments, job records and encrypted credentials are stored in the PostgreSQL database and file storage configured for that deployment. The deployment administrator controls the server, network, backups and access policies.

What data is sent to third parties?

  • When you run a web agent, the notes, rules and conversation it reads are sent to the AI model provider configured for that run. The provider's handling is governed by its policies and your settings with that provider.
  • When you import a URL, the deployment server requests that URL. DOI, arXiv and PubMed lookups contact the corresponding public catalog services.
  • If the administrator configures an e-mail provider, that provider handles account verification and password-reset messages.

The software does not send data to project-maintained analytics services.

What does the software store?

Depending on enabled features, a deployment may store account details, knowledge-base content and revisions, attachments, chats and agent job records, encrypted AI credentials, MCP token hashes, OAuth grants, sessions and security logs. AI keys are encrypted with the deployment's configured encryption key; the interface shows only their last four characters.

Retention and deletion

The latest note revision remains until its account or workspace is deleted. Older revisions are retained for 90 days by default; the deployment administrator can change this with the VERSION_RETENTION_DAYS environment variable. Account deletion removes associated account data according to database relationships. Copies in backups expire according to the deployment's backup policy. Contact the deployment administrator to request access, correction or deletion.

Security

The software supports HTTPS, hashed passwords, encrypted credentials, workspace isolation, hashed MCP token storage and request rate limits. Actual security depends on the deployment's server, network, secrets and backup configuration.

The Central LLM Wiki core is published under Apache-2.0 at https://github.com/IDESTIINY/central-llm-wiki. This notice describes the software; deployment operators remain responsible for notices required by their environment and applicable law.
